Position Summary: We are actively seeking a qualified Civil Engineer for a full-time position with a focus on site development, highway/street, and drainage design. Key Responsibilities: Design and preparation of construction plans for site development, roadway, and drainage projects Perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, stormwater modeling, and drainage system layout Develop grading plans, utility layouts, and erosion control plans Review and interpret engineering plans, survey data, and geotechnical reports Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and regulatory agencies Conduct site visits and assist in field investigations as needed Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations Prepare reports, cost estimates, and construction specifications Support project managers in maintaining project schedules and budgets Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program Engineer Intern (EI) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred), Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word Strong written and verbal communication skills Solid understanding of civil engineering principles and design practices Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications: Active Professional Engineer (PE) license Experience with SurvCADD or other civil design software 3+ years of relevant work experience in site development and roadway/street drainage design Familiarity with local and state agency permitting processes
