Senior Commercial HVAC Technician Location: Scottsdale, AZ Job Type: Full-Time About the Company: We are a fast-growing, innovative HVAC services company that blends traditional mechanical work with energy-efficiency solutions. While our foundation is in advanced controls and energy programs in partnership with local utilities, we also service and maintain over 280 commercial accounts. As we expand our repair and maintenance division, we're looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team. Position Overview: This role is ideal for a hands-on HVAC professional who enjoys technical challenges, takes pride in their work, and wants to be part of a small, collaborative, and supportive team. You'll work year-round, with a steady stream of installations, repairs, and maintenance work for commercial clients. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose, service, and repair commercial HVAC systems including RTUs, split systems, and chillers. Perform preventive maintenance and respond to emergency service requests. Work alongside controls and energy-efficiency teams on integrated systems. Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards. Communicate clearly with clients and team members regarding service issues and solutions. Lead jobs in the field and support junior technicians when needed. Accurately complete work orders and job documentation. Qualifications: 3-5+ years of commercial HVAC experience. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques. EPA Certification (Universal preferred). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Willingness to travel locally and occasionally work overtime.
