Job Responsibilities
Provides overall management in all phases of construction for one or more Data Center electrical projects and develops new business opportunities relative to a particular Client, group of Clients or geographical area.
Manages projects in a manner that exceeds our customers' expectations and ensures that our work ads to NEC, company safety policies and OSHA mandated requirements.
Establishes project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy.
Represents company in project meetings and assists in labor negotiations, strategy meetings.
Manages financial aspects of contracts to protect company's interest and simultaneously maintains good relationship with clients.
Manages the project team to ensure that project delivery meets the expectations of the client as well as IES.
Performs takeoffs and price change orders and project related quotes.
Works closely with the Project Executive to ensure accurate tracking and financial reporting.
Work required to be performed at the Project Site.
Qualifications
8 or more years electrical construction project management experience in all phases of electrical projects $20-$100M including mission critical, ground-up construction, and remodeling.
Bachelor's Degree engineering or construction management preferred
Data Center experience is required.
Hyperscale Data Center experience preferred.
Valid Electrical License on the Journeyman or Master level strongly preferred.
Proficient computer, communications (oral and written), and interpersonal skills.
Detailed understanding of electrical estimating, budgeting, scheduling and project tracking.
Detailed understanding of billing and financial reporting.
Business knowledge of vendors in respective electrical construction industry.
Proficient in Accubid, Blue Beam, Procore, CX Alloy, BIM360, MS Project, P6 and other industry standard software.
Ability to travel as required.
Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check and MVR check.
