Structural Concrete Superintendent

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Concrete Superintendent to oversee and manage our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy civil construction, exceptional leadership abilities, and a commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily construction operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.
Manage and supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Forecast the work schedule to identify possible issues and provide technical or scheduling recommendations to mitigate production issues.
Provide technical input to identify and resolve project risks, including construction methods, work plan, material requirements, safety, and schedule activities.
Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, time sheets, and project logs.
Review and understand the project specifications to support job set up activities.
Works with work crews, field engineers, and local utility companies to identify hazardous areas on the job site.
Supports and promotes strict adherence to safety and process controls regarding operating equipment, worksite safety, and documentation requirements. Responsibility includes recommending training needs identified on the job site.
What we are looking for:
5-10 years of heavy civil construction experience required.
5+ years of construction management experience required.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Valid Driver's License and the ability to travel to job sites as needed.
Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
Advanced knowledge of construction site safety protocols and proven ability to enforce project safety programs.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret standards and contract-specific plans and specifications.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
