Vander Hyde Mechanical, a family-owned business located on the Northwest side of Grand Rapids, is seeking an experienced, motivated HVAC Residential Installer!

A Residential HVAC Installer knows how to maintain, repair, diagnose, and install or replace HVAC systems. Their work includes troubleshooting issues, installing and fixing equipment, making recommendations to customers, and keeping records of each installation.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities required:

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Familiar with HVAC wiring diagrams
• Understanding of refrigeration cycles
• Can lead and work well in a team
• Knowledge of local HVAC codes
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Can push, pull, carry, or move heavier items and work in small spaces or at heights
• Able to pass a background check

To perform this job successfully candidates must have:

• Type II EPA Certification or EPA Universal
• Driver's License and Insurable driving record
• 3 or more years' experience
• Possess basic hand tools

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Based on demand, hours may vary.
