Job Title: Civil Engineer
Job Description
The Civil Engineer will execute technical work assignments on land development projects for municipal engineering either individually or as part of a project team. Engineers with all levels of experience are encouraged to apply, as tasks and responsibilities will vary depending on their status of licensure and level of experience. Candidates should possess an EIT, PE, or be close to obtaining these certifications.
Responsibilities
- Execute technical work assignments on land development projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful completion of municipal engineering tasks.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for project design and development.
- Engage in land development processes and demonstrate interest in the field.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- EIT/PE certification or nearing completion.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- 3 to 4+ years of professional experience.
- Experience or interest in land development.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in water and wastewater management.
- Knowledge of municipal engineering and transportation engineering.
- Ability to handle stormwater, site development, civil design, drainage, and grading projects.

The work environment is characterized by a family feel within a large local firm. The office maintains a business casual dress code and offers a supportive atmosphere for professional growth. Employees will receive vacation and holiday pay during the initial 12-month period, including up to 2 weeks of vacation and 6 major holidays. Additionally, the company is committed to training and mentoring engineers to help them grow, pass their EIT, and eventually achieve PE status.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $45.00/hr.
