3rd Shift Warehouse Foreman
Location: Old Dutch Foods - Roseville, MN
Department: Warehouse
Reports To: Shift Supervisor
Employment Type: Full-Time | Union Scale Pay
Hours: Sunday through Friday | 9pm - 5AM
Job Summary:
Old Dutch Foods is looking for a reliable and experienced Warehouse Foreman to join our warehouse team. In this key leadership role, you will assist and direct crew members in loading, unloading, and properly placing products into trailers or warehouse locations, all while ensuring timelines and safety standards are met. You'll also step in to perform hands-on duties and help cover shifts during employee absences.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure accurate completion of inventory counts and warehouse paperwork
Safely operate lift trucks and move semi-trailers (dock, park, position)
Step in to perform other warehouse tasks as needed
Monitor crews to ensure productivity and adherence to procedures
Train and supervise temporary and permanent warehouse staff
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
Set up conveyors, clean trailers, and coordinate product staging
Arrange break schedules to minimize downtime
Assist in monitoring FIFO compliance in the warehouse
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications and Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required
Experience: Prior warehouse experience preferred
Skills: Strong leadership, training, and communication skills
Ability to lead by example and maintain company standards
Dependable and team-focused with a proactive attitude
Valid Driver's License
Essential Job Requirements
Stand or walk continuously during shifts
Operate lift trucks
Hook/unhook and crank semi-trailer landing gear
Docking and parking semi-trailers
Communicate clearly and respectfully with team members
Work 8-hour shifts, 5 days/week, with overtime as needed
Demonstrate consistent and reliable attendance
