Trillium Construction is hiring for a Construction Project Manager in Waterloo, IA to work with a well-established general contractor to manage commercial construction projects throughout Iowa.
Qualified candidates will be responsible for managing construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
Duties:
-Review and document subcontracts, purchase orders, payables, and project changes.
-Track RFIs, submittals, ASIs, change orders, and correspondence.
-Monitor buyout progress and ensure accurate financial reporting.
-Diligently estimate new projects and support preconstruction efforts.
-Communicate project schedules to subcontractors and suppliers.
-Assist Superintendents with safety and change management.
-Expedite material procurement and deliveries.
-Build strong client relationships, balancing schedule, quality, and cost.
-Review plans, documents, and cost data to ensure full project understanding.
-Lead scheduling and planning efforts; prepare meeting minutes and look-ahead schedules
Compensation:
-Annual salary starting at $80,000 and increasing with experience

Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering or related field preferred, high school diploma, or equivalent required
-At least 5-7 years' experience in the construction field, preferably in a management role.
-Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook programs, experience with Timberline is a plus
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
-Ability to objectively coach employees through complex issues.
-Must be able to contain confidential information.
