Maintenance Field Supervisor (Fort Hood)

WinnCompanies is searching for a Maintenance Field Supervisor to join our military housing team at Fort Hood, TX.
In this role, you will assist with the overall operation of the maintenance service call function and preventive maintenance program. The ideal candidate will provide oversight on the maintenance staff members ensuring the team members in the field complete service request work in accordance with time and quality expectations. Responsibilities
  • Maintain a close and highly responsive relationship to the day-to-day activities of the technicians, subcontractors, and residential service coordinators to facilitate the service and COM requirements for the location assigned.
  • Adjust technicians schedules as needed to complete all work requests in a timely manner.
  • Develop and support technicians.
  • Assist in the coordination of technician training, truck stock inventories, vacation planning, and company meetings.
  • Responsible for duties of Maintenance Technicians, Service Order Coordinators, COM coordinators and other Field Supervisors in their absence or as required.
  • Perform Quality Control checks for service request process for technician and subcontracted work to ensure time and quality expectations are met.
  • Perform Quality Control checks throughout the COM process for technician and subcontracted work to ensure time and quality expectations are met.
  • Service Order Coordination includes investigation resident complaints and resolve when possible and coordinating subcontractor work and schedule specialty work to be performed outside of the normal appointment system.
  • COM Coordination includes scope and identify tasks required for COM including estimating time and cost to complete repairs, coordinating contractor work.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Less than 1 year of supervisory / managerial experience.
  • A current driver's license in good standing and ability to meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
  • Ability to provide basic tools and equipment necessary to perform daily duties.
  • Experience with computer systems such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and diverse group of people.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced residential maintenance environment.

  • Vocational or Technical training.
