Design Consultant

About the Role:

• Design gas distribution systems for customer relocation, capacity, or reliability improvement projects.
• Utilize CAD software, specifically Bentley OpenPlant or MicroStation, for design work.
• Track project progress using spreadsheets and/or databases.
• Create projects/orders and manage material procurement in SAP.
• Collect field notes outdoors, sometimes in remote or difficult-to-access locations.

• An associate degree in a relevant scientific or technical field is preferred. Significant relevant design experience may be considered in lieu of a technical degree.

• Advanced computer and application knowledge.
• Strong communication skills for clear and precise design documentation.
• Experience with drafting software such as MicroStation or AutoCAD.
• Ability to produce safe, ergonomic, and practical designs.
