Qualifications:

Will not be strictly electrical work, role requires all aspects of facility maintenance.

Perform equipment checks & PMs.

Strong general mechanical and plumping aptitude.

Willingness to work & learn all disciplines.

Start/Stop, Troubleshoot, repair, maintain FAC equipment.

Self-starter, prioritize work orders based on deadlines and equipment issues.

Strong Electrical Power Distribution Knowledge and experience

24V, 120V, 480V, 4160V, 12470V

Both single phase and three phase experience

Ability to read and interpret electrical one-lines

Experience with the following gear

High Voltage Switches

Substations

Busway & Bus Plugs

MCC

Transformers

Breakers

Panels

Disconnects

Experience with the following tools & PPE

Megger, Voltmeter, Amp clamp

40 Cal Arc Flash Suit & Electrical Gloves

Hot Stick, Shotgun, Electrical Blanket

Ground straps, grounding high voltage

Must be a US citizen.

Valid Driver's License

Journeyman Preferred

No Residential

Trained on NFPA 70E, and ability to train Boom lift, scissor lift, forklift, and cushman carts.

Training in motor and motor controls, variable frequency drives, and PLC / BMS controls. Ability to read complex wiring diagrams, identify electrical components, and extensive knowledge in troubleshooting of control circuits.

Uses guidelines from the National Electrical Code, local codes, safety regulations and Jacobs standard practices. Wears PPE and ARC Flash equipment while performing live troubleshooting.

Experience with industrial HVAC

Responsibilities:

Climb ladders, stairs, work from heights/roof, walk distances, work in hot/cold climates, lift

50lbs.

Work OT, Weekends, Holidays as necessary. Support weekend coverage rotation.

Report to work during harsh weather conditions.

Ability to work on a team.

Ability to utilize scissors lift, boom lift, fork truck, 3-wheel cart, hoist way.

Responsible to locate tools, supplies, materials to job site including carrying items

upstairs & to the roof.

Responsible for tools, supplies, 5S, COP.

Ability to read and understand system blueprints, specifications, and performance data to determine configuration and purpose of system components such as compressors, motors, pumps, fans, switches, controls, ducts, or pipes.

Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and building equipment. Connects power supply wires to machines and building equipment, connects cables and wires between machines and equipment.

Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, motor starters, MCC panels, MCC circuits, variable frequency drives and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires, cables, and fuses.

Dismantles malfunctioning systems and tests components.

Replaces faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, sensors, motors, and positions sensing devices.

Plans layout of wiring and installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings.

Responsible for accurate and timely paperwork related to essential duties and responsibilities.

Performs preventative maintenance tasking on electrical and mechanical equipment.

Second shift 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM (30 minute lunch)

Overtime required
