Farnsworth Group is seeking an Energy and Utilities Engineer in our Greenwood Village, CO (Denver DTC) office. In this role, you will work with experienced engineers on energy and utility projects including oil and gas pipelines, stations, facilities, etc. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and experience in the energy and utility industries while building a career with an established 135-year-old firm. Job Activities:
  • Provide technical support as part of an engineering team on projects reporting directly to Farnsworths project manager.
  • Provide project management support internally and/or project management as a representative reporting directly to the Owners project manager.
  • Project development - provide technical and design support for the development of projects (conceptual through final design and as-built projects).
  • Observe construction at field locations to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
Specific Requirements include:
  • BS in Civil, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering, from an ABET accredited institution
  • 3 - 10 years of experience
  • Experience in oil, gas, or similar utility industry a plus
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification a plus
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Bluebeam a plus
  • Must demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills
  • Must be willing to travel and have a valid drivers license

Salary Range: $72,000 min $100,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
