Monitoring the performance of machinery such as turbines or conveyor belts to ensure safe operation

- Monitoring the amount of material left in storage bins to ensure that they do not overflow

- Monitoring gauges and meters to ensure that machinery is operating efficiently and safely

- Operating cranes, forklifts, shovels, bulldozers, backhoes, or other heavy equipment to load, unload, or move materials

- Inspecting equipment for damage or defects and making necessary repairs

- Monitoring the amount of oil in machines to ensure that they do not overheat

- Checking inventory levels to determine if more raw material needs to be purchased

- Monitoring the amount of raw material entering the facility to ensure that itmeets production quotas

- Operating computer-based controls to manage the flow of material through a production process
