Description
Terracon is seeking a motivated and organized Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support the Materials Department, with a primary focus on managing deliverables, documentation, and coordination for current projects and other materials-related initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2-3 years of experience in geotechnical, foundational, or materials engineering (not necessarily all three), who is looking to transition into a project management role.
The APM will be responsible for tracking outgoing and follow-up proposals, coordinating with internal teams and clients, and ensuring timely and accurate project execution. Approximately 70% of the role will involve general materials department support, with 30% dedicated to the current projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or related field (or 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree)
- 2-3 years of industry-related experience (field testing not required)
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Strong initiative and desire to grow into a full Project Manager role
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
