Description We're looking for a Roadway Design EIT to join the HMB team!Engaged professionals lies at the heart of our vision statement. Thats why we strive to create a work environment that challenges and inspires our employees, igniting their passion and drive to achieve greatness each and every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Work under the responsible charge of a Professional Engineer as a member of a team in the design and preparation of technical reports, analysis/calculations and construction documents.
- Preparation of accurate presentation, design and construction document details.
- Preparation of permit applicaitons and submittal packages to agencies having jurisdiction.
- Coordination with clients, subconsultants, permitting agencies, utility providers, contractors and other parties associated with the project.
- Development and adherence to project scope, schedules and budgets.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in all technical aspects of roadway design
- Experience with OpenRoads Designer preferred
- EIT certification is preferred
- Detail-oriented individual wtih strong technical and organizational skills
- Proficiency in standard industry software including MS Office
- Works well in multidisciplinary team environments and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong oral presentation and written communication skills.
