Description
OVERVIEW
Cadrex is searching for a Scheduler I who will be responsible for creating and maintaining production schedules that align with customer demand, capacity constraints, and inventory levels. Your strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams will contribute to the successful execution of our production plans. By monitoring and adjusting schedules as needed, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of production operations and meeting customer expectations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Create and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, production capacity, and inventory levels
+ Collaborate with Sales, Production, and Supply Chain teams to understand customer requirements, lead times, and production constraints
+ Analyze production data, including order quantities, materials availability, and equipment capacity, to develop feasible production schedules
+ Monitor and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in customer demand, material availability, or production constraints
+ Coordinate with procurement and material planning teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components
+ Communicate production schedules to relevant stakeholders, including Production, Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams
+ Track and report on production performance, identifying areas of improvement and implementing corrective actions
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve scheduling conflicts, prioritize urgent orders, and manage capacity constraints
+ Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements in all scheduling activities
+ Support continuous improvement initiatives related to production planning, scheduling processes, and systems
Requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
+ Previous experience in production planning, scheduling, or related roles within a manufacturing environment is preferred
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
+ Proficiency in using scheduling software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
+ Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
+ Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
+ Strong knowledge of production processes, capacity planning, and inventory management principles
+ Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
+ Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment and following established safety protocols
EDUCATION
+ Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred

+ While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally loud.

+ While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
