Construction Laborer/ Facility Worker**
**Job Description**
The Environmental Technician will work around the landfill, performing laborer duties such as moving materials, checking and changing pumps, digging, inspecting, and using basic hand tools.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform laborer duties around the landfill including moving materials and inspecting areas.
+ Check and change pumps as needed.
+ Use basic hand tools for various tasks.
+ Digging and other manual labor as required.
+ Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of general laborer experience.
+ 2+ years of experience using hand tools.
+ Experience with yard work, construction, heavy equipment operation, and waste removal.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience working outside in various weather conditions.
+ Experience in construction, farming, or manual labor.
+ Willingness to perform laborer duties.

Employees are given 20 hours of PTO per quarter starting the quarter after hire. Enjoy holiday pay while on contract, including Christmas, New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and the day after Thanksgiving. Raises are offered based on performance, and there is an opportunity to travel to other sites with per diem.
**Work Environment**
The work is conducted outdoors 100% of the time at the landfill, which is a dirty environment with odor. Employees will rotate between Monday-Friday and Tuesday-Saturday schedules every two months. Occasional weekend work is required, with voluntary signup for weekend shifts. Must be open to both schedules and willing to work overtime, as hours range from 40 to 60 hours per week. Contractors will be evaluated on attendance and work ethic from day one.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
