Construction Plumber**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Construction Plumber to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in new construction and renovation projects. This role requires strong technical knowledge, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, gas, and vent systems according to blueprints and building codes.
+ Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and specifications.
+ Cut, assemble, and install pipes and fittings made of copper, PVC, PEX, and other materials.
+ Install fixtures such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, and bathtubs.
+ Perform pressure tests on systems to ensure there are no leaks.
+ Collaborate with other construction professionals such as electricians, HVAC technicians, and general contractors.
+ Follow OSHA safety regulations and company policies on job sites.
+ Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
+ Complete work within specified timelines and according to quality standards.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum 3 years of experience in construction plumbing.
+ Proficient in using hand and power tools commonly used in plumbing.
+ Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
+ Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and safety regulations.
+ Good physical condition and the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions and weather conditions.
+ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training is a plus.
**Work Environment**
The position involves working on construction sites where the candidate will need to follow safety regulations and wear appropriate gear. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, Tennessee.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
