**Overview:**
ACS Professional Staffing is growing, and we are seeking a **Business
Development Manager** to report to the Director of Business Development.
This role will focus on expanding ACS\'s market presence by identifying
and securing staffing solutions for engineering, IT, and professional
roles. Success in this position requires strategic sales execution and a
proven ability to close deals while supporting the Director in driving
sales. Responsibilities include proactive lead generation, relationship
building, crafting compelling proposals, and collaborating with sales
and recruiting teams. Conducting industry research to support effective
outreach and enhance our staffing solutions is also essential. **This is
a hybrid position located in Boise, ID.**

**Responsibilities:**
- Report on key staffing metrics, sales pipeline for recruitment
services, and client acquisition progress to the Business
Development Director and President.
- Execute business development strategies set by the BD Director.
- Engage with target clients to achieve specific placement goals
within defined industry sectors or key accounts.
- Proactively identify and cultivate new client relationships and
staffing opportunities through targeted lead generation, industry
networking, direct outreach, and respond to RFPs.
- Build and nurture relationships with potential and existing clients
to understand their needs.
- Identify opportunities for expanded service offerings or referrals.
- Create compelling sales proposals, presentations, and other
materials to win new business and secure client partnerships.
- Work closely with the sales and recruiting teams to ensure effective
lead handoff and alignment with sales targets.
- Collaborate with the ACS team to develop and execute campaigns that
support business development goals and enhance brand awareness
within target client segments.
- Conduct thorough research on specific industry sectors and client
companies to understand their hiring trends, talent needs, and
competitive landscape, informing targeted outreach and sales
strategies for staffing solutions.
- Proactively build a diverse client portfolio using research, phone
calls, social media, networking, and database mining.
- Promote a collaborative and high-performance sales culture aligned
with ACS\'s values, accountability, and data integrity.
- Stay up to date on staffing industry trends, market shifts, and
competitive dynamics to inform business strategies.
- Assist in the development of proposals, bids, and RFP responses to
support client acquisition efforts.
- Establish contact with hiring managers, executives, HR
professionals, and procurement specialists to drive business growth.
- Represent ACS at networking e ents, engaging virtually and in person
to expand industry connections.
- Close business deals both virtually and in person, benefiting
personal sales efforts and the overall team.
- Follow up on delegate sales leads generated from management,
marketing, and recruiting efforts.
**Requirements:**
Bachelor\'s degree preferred, or 3 years of relevant experience in place
of a degree.
3+ years of new business development and cold calling experience
required.
2+ years of staffing industry sales experience, including selling both
temporary/contract and direct hire roles required.
Recruiting and account management expertise are essential.
At least 1 year of management experience required.
Understanding of professional staffing.
Managed Service Providers (MSPs), Vendor Management Systems (VMS), and
business development strategies highly desired.
Proven ability to prospect, close deals, build relationships, negotiate,
and drive new business while effectively managing client accounts.
Adept at uncovering customer challenges and determining appropriate
staffing solutions that provide value.
