**Position: Production Supervisor**

The Production Supervisor is critical in maintaining accuracy by ensuring jobs are completed on schedule and to correct specifications. This role will continue to motivate and lead a team in a fast-paced manufacturing and production environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, continuous improvement, and KPI driven efficiencies.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the planning and execution of all shop functions to include safety, purchasing, manufacturing, shipping, quality, maintenance, inventory, and warehousing.
  • Work with management to ensure that plant has the capacity to deliver products on time and in full per field schedule.
  • Develop, plan and test for extended and second shift to be executed, if necessary, for seasonal spikes.
  • Ensure that all quality measures are in place and consistently tested to meet standards
  • Create a team environment of employee engagement and supervisory accountability that works to support all aspects of production.
  • Lead a change in culture to 'We Make it Happen' and 'Bring it On.'
  • Ensure a 'safety first' work environment with employee buy in.
  • Develop KPI's in all areas of the plant and continually monitor for improvement.
  • Effectively communicate with management on reports of KPI's and process improvement plans, as well as overall plant status reports.
  • Continually recruit and evaluate employees to establish the best, most engaged staff.
  • Use LEAN, DMAIC, etc. principles to improve processes and results.

Qualifications:

  • Capability to repetitively lift 50-75 lbs.
  • Familiarity with building, carpentry, or construction practices is a plus.
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills with an eye for detail.
