Civil Design Project Manager (PE) – Land Development

Hybrid | Northern California Region Salary: $130,000 – $156,000

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead civil design for a range of site development projects — residential, commercial, and mixed-use

  • Manage projects from concept through construction with minimal oversight

  • Train and supervise 1–2 junior engineers

  • Handle project budgets, schedules, client communication, and agency coordination

  • Oversee grading, drainage, utility layout, and stormwater management design

  • Conduct site visits, lead consultant coordination, and guide QA/QC for permit-ready plans

What You Bring:

  • 10+ years of professional experience in land development civil engineering

  • California Professional Engineer (PE) license

  • Strong technical skills with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and related software

  • Deep knowledge of civil design principles including hydrology, grading, drainage, and stormwater

  • Leadership ability, mentorship mindset, and strong communication skills

  • A passion for quality design and project ownership
