Roof Mechanic

Full-Time Position / Plus Benefits:

JOB SUMMARY:
Help roofers by performing duties of lesser skill. Duties include using, supplying, or holding materials and tools, as well as cleaning the work area and equipment.

Duties and tasks:
Driver
Verify that completed roofs are watertight.
Maintain tools and equipment.
Hoist roofing materials to roofs, using ropes and pulleys, or carry materials up ladders.
Aid roofers in installing and repairing roofs, flashing, and surfaces.
Remove old roofing materials.
Set ladders, scaffolds, and hoists in place to transport supplies to the roofs.
Sweep and clean roofs to prepare them for applications of new roofing materials.
Unload materials and tools from work trucks and unroll roofing as directed.

Requirements:
Must have a valid Driving License in good standing.
Have reliable transportation.
Must be available to work full-time.
Ability to work in Hot and Cold weather.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. & climb up and down ladders to a minimum height of 25 feet.
