Equipment Operator

Equipment operator- Advance One Development
**This is a traveling position**
Trenching experience is required

We are looking for a hardworking individual with experience operating heavy construction equipment. Expectations of this positive include pipefitting and labor as needed during construction. It is an operator first/pipefitting/labor second. Candidates need to have experience and proficiency with running Track Hoes, Dozers, Articulating Dump Trucks, Skid Steer, Loaders, etc. Most of the piping we install is HDPE (polyethene) fusion type. Roles and responsibilities for the equipment operator position are as follows:

Operate Equipment Proficiently and Safety

Trenching pipe range from 1 upwards of 30

Keep Trenching and Excavations safe considering pipefitters and workers entering the trench.

Maintenance of owned and rented equipment is a must for this position. Basic daily/weekly/monthly preventative maintenance is required.

Assist Pipefitters. Expectation of equipment operator is to run the equipment first but get off the machine as needed to assist installation of pipe.

Assist with concrete pours and finishing

Conduit assembly and installation

Mechanical assembly of Landfill Gas Components

Assist with small engine servicing and maintenance

Clean and organize work trucks, trailers, and construction equipment

Required Qualifications:

Experience with Heavy Construction Equipment

Valid drivers license

Willingness to travel

Willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done

Basic knowledge of construction skills and tools

Good attitude

Bonus Qualifications (preferred, but not required):

Experience with HDPE pipe fusion

Experience with concrete form building

Experience with concrete finishing

About the company: We are an established landfill gas construction company and we work a variety of projects sis. Mainly, we install well and pipeline infrastructure in landfills across the country. Hotels and per diems are paid and there is generally overtime associated with out of town work. We do our own concrete pads on some jobs, so finding an individual with concrete experience is a plus.
