General Laborer

Waste Connections is looking for a General Laborer to join our team in Yakima, WA. This is a full-time, long-term position with a reputable company.

The Schedule for this position will be Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:00PM with Occasional Overtime.

Responsibilities Include:

• Cleaning/ Pressure Washing Equipment
• Picking up litter
• General site cleanup
• Pressure Washing Trucks
• New Container Assembly
• Other assigned Laborer duties

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of work experience. Preferably in a labor type position.
• The ability to continually lift up to 75lbs repeatedly throughout an 8 hr shift.
• Experience operating equipment is a plus
• Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift
• Mechanical ability a plus.
• Safety Sensitive Position: Yes
