Painter, Apartment Turnover Crew Wanted

Urban Alternatives, Inc, a real estate property management company, is seeking aFull-TimePainter/ Apartment Turnover Tech. Our office is based in Chicago, IL in the Austin neighborhood. We manage properties in Chicago, IL and Gary, IN. We are a family-owned business with about 25 employees and 1 friendly Goldendoodle office dog.

JOB OVERVIEW:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for painting vacant and occupied apartments and assist with turnovers (make-ready apartments) for our residential properties. This includes some clean outs of apartments.

Other information:

- Full-Time, 40 hours
- Must have own tools
- Valid Drivers License & car insurance, SSN, and a reliable vehicle.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor in varied conditions
- Communication skills (English)

QUALIFICATIONS/GENERAL WORKING KNOWLEDGE IN:
- 2 years of experience in painting, including prep work such as patching, taping, etc.
- Drywall repair, cleaning apartment to make it move-in ready
- Plumbing, electrical a plus
- Extermination experience is a plus
