GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
Person responsible for all slab cutting activities, manual and Level 2 slab optimization, and slab identification.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Oversee all slab cutting operations.
Ensure slab weights are correct.
Ensure slab tagging machine is functioning properly and maintain slab tagging machine.
Slab Optimization.
Ability to operate overhead crane.
General Housekeeping.
Maintenance as required.
Maintenance during outages.
Responsible for all pertinent paper work.
10.Work as a team.
11.Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Continuous Casting Supervisor.
12.Keep crop buckets emptied and all crops proper marked with the proper steel NAS steel type.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of High School Diploma or GED is required. Must possess good communication skills, time management skills, and basic computer skills. Must also work well with others.
