The HVAC Technician & Installer will install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems. The HVAC Technician & Installer will be skilled in cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems. The HVAC Technician & Installer will be patient and have excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities :

Installing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.

Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.

Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.

Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.

Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.

Experience with HVAC control systems to regulate the operation of a heating and/or air conditioning system.

Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.

Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Complying with service standards, work instructions and foreman/supervisor requirements.

Ability and willingness to work non-standard schedule that may include nights, weekends and holidays if required.

Requirements:

3 plus years of HVAC experience.

A valid Drivers License and reliable transportation.

Strong attention to detail and a strong commitment to high quality of work.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability and willingness to work non-standard schedule that may include nights, weekends and holidays if required.

Good math and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements:

The HVAC technicians make repairs and installations from ladders, scaffolding, and platforms, and where the parts of systems worked on being in hard-to-reach places. This requires the employees to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions. The HVAC technicians frequently lift, carry, and set up parts and equipment that weigh up to 80 pounds.
