Key Responsibilities
- Execute bridge design efforts on multi-disciplinary projects.
- Coordinate with other disciplines and support staff to develop design calculations and bridge plans.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in design tasks and project development.
- Ensure compliance with project budgets, schedules, and all QC/QA protocols.
- Perform site visits and bridge inspections during design and construction phases as needed.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Structural Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in bridge engineering and design.
- Familiarity with regional DOTs (NHDOT, MaineDOT, MassDOT, VTrans) strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation is desirable.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
