Job Description:

As a Welder, you will collaborate with the Lead Welder to fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment utilizing a variety of tools including welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools. Your primary responsibility will be to produce metal products according to precise specifications provided by customers or employers. You will be involved in planning, laying out, welding, installing, testing, and repairing various types of pipe and similar tubular products, ensuring strict adherence to all relevant plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards.

Job Duties:

  • Read and interpret plans and specifications, including isometric and orthographic drawings, and visualize two-dimensional drawings in three dimensions.
  • Adhere to established job-site safety regulations and maintain a safe and clean work area. Identify and address safety hazards promptly.
  • Inspect work for compliance with contract plans and specifications, addressing any deficiencies and taking corrective action as needed.
  • Perform MIG, TIG, and other types of welding based on project requirements.
  • Utilize hand and power tools to measure, cut, assemble, weld, and install various types of pipe and similar tubular products.
  • Install supports, valves, and other control equipment as necessary.
  • Secure parts in position for welding using bolts, clamps, or welding techniques, and weld components according to specific processes and codes.
  • Ensure proper installation of all items in accordance with applicable plans and specifications.
  • Produce high-quality work that meets the requirements of plans, specifications, and industry standards.

Special Skills:

  • Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding techniques is required.

Work Experience Required:

  • Three to Five years of TIG welding experience
