Journeyman Electrician

Journeyman Electrician, up to $35/hr.**

**$100/day worked per diem for those 75+ miles from site; Monday - Saturday, 45-60 hours.**

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician for a long-term project in Lima, OH. The role involves working Monday through Saturday, with shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The successful candidate will handle various electrical tasks, including installing rigid conduit, lighting, devices, and cable trays, as well as grounding and feeder/power/control cabling.

**Responsibilities**

+ Cut, bend, thread, and install rigid conduit.

+ Install lighting, devices, and MC/Reloc/VFD cable.

+ Set up temporary devices and cable trays.

+ Perform grounding and install feeder/power/control cabling.

+ Work on a long-term project with potential for conversion to hire for exceptional workers.

**Essential Skills**

+ 4+ years of relevant electrical experience in commercial/industrial construction.

+ Experience with EMT and IMC.

+ Proficiency in cutting, bending, threading, and installing rigid conduit.

+ Ability to perform temporary wiring and handle temporary devices.

+ Ability to read blueprints with minimal supervision.

+ Comfortable working at heights and out of lifts.

+ OSHA 10 certification.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ IEC/ABC electrical certification.

+ Aerial Lift Certification.

**Work Environment**

This role involves working on a major project with standard PPE requirements, including outdoor rain gear, type 2 hard hat, safety vest, and standard PPE. The job requires use of hand tools, impact tools, Sawzall, portable power tools, and conduit benders ranging from 3/4" to 1". Be prepared to work under various weather conditions.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
