Millwright
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (SUMMARY)
The Millwright will install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, conveyor systems, pumps and compressors, piping systems, hydraulic systems, and production machinery. This position also perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment, diagnose mechanical problems and make necessary repairs, and provide emergency or unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform routine maintenance work. They may also be required to construct and assemble machinery and equipment, disassemble and reassemble machinery and equipment, and move or transport equipment or machinery.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education, Credentials, Licenses:
Minimum 8 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system skills required; 4 years of successful apprenticeship training preferred.
High school diploma required; vocational school or Associate's degree in related field highly preferred.
Experience reading and interpreting piping and instrument diagrams (P&ID's), one-line electrical drawings, blueprints and technical manuals.
Knowledge of safety regulations and be able to diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions.
Experienced working with the following maintenance equipment: Allen Bradley Products: Guard Master, Power flex, flex I/O, Control Logix controllers and system components preferred.
Prior leadership experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred.

Thorough and broad understanding of a variety of equipment used in the chemical industry.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to read and understand drawings and schematics.
Ability to install, disassemble, reassemble and maintain machinery according to OEM and industry standards
Strong analytical, mechanical aptitude.
Strong diagnostic and formal problem-solving skills.
Thorough understanding safety practices, guidelines, rules, and laws.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods standing, stretching, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling required.
Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at a time.
Visual acuity to properly inspect and modify large and detailed portions of machinery.
Manual dexterity to assemble, disassemble, adjust, and relocate machines.
PERFORMANCE MEASURES AND STANDARDS
Read P&ID's, one-line electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine work procedures
Set up and operate machine tools to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, and fixtures
Align machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs
Assemble and install equipment, using hand tools and power tools
Maintain industrial machines, apply knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures
Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions
Repair or replace defective parts, using hand tools, lathes, drill presses, grinders, welding equipment, and measuring instruments
Adjust functional parts of mechanical devices and control instruments, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments
Repair electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery
Install, program, or repair automated machinery and equipment, such as robots or programmable controllers
Clean, lubricate, and maintain machinery, equipment, and tools, using lubricants and cleaning solutions
Perform routine maintenance, such as checking fluid levels, replacing parts, or repacking bearings
