Seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of mobile and stationary mining equipment. Work includes low-voltage systems up to 60VDC. This position operates under limited supervision and requires technical precision, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work independently on a wide range of mechanical systems.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all mining equipment and lubrication systems
- Complete inspections, timecards, work orders, and proper documentation
- Read and interpret hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics
- Support installation of mechanical systems on both mobile and stationary equipment
- Operate hoist and shaft work tools as needed
- Perform welding, cutting, carpentry, painting, and light fabrication
- Utilize CMMS systems and complete accurate data entry
- Train others in safe mechanical practices
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free workspace at all times
**Qualifications:**
High school diploma or GED required
Two-year certificate from a technical school or 2+ years of experience in heavy equipment repair
Minimum of 3 years in a mechanic role preferred
Comfortable with computers and technical schematics
