**Position Summary**:

As an AWS D1.1 Certified Welder for T.J. Clark International, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding tasks on industrial equipment, structures, and components. This role requires expertise in welding techniques, adherence to AWS D1.1 standards, and a commitment to safety and precision to ensure the structural integrity and durability of our products.

**Salary, Benefits, and Advancement Opportunities**:

AWS D1.1 Certified Welders start at $25 to $28 an hour based on experience. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability. This position is first shift (9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.) with occasional overtime required.

**Daily Responsibilities will Include**:

? Perform welding tasks using techniques such as SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, or GTAW in compliance with AWS D1.1 standards.

? Prepare materials for welding, including cleaning, grinding, and fitting components to ensure proper alignment and weld quality.

? Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to execute welds that meet project requirements.

? Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with AWS D1.1 standards and project specifications.

? Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work areas to ensure optimal performance and safety.

? Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to plan and execute welding projects within schedule and budget constraints.

? Adhere to safety regulations and protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and handling of hazardous materials.

? Document work performed, including weld logs, material usage, and project milestones.

? Stay updated on industry trends, welding techniques, and advancements in welding technology.

**Qualifications for Success**:

? High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in welding required.

? Valid AWS D1.1 certification with proven experience in structural welding in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial setting.

? Proficiency in multiple welding processes (SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW) and knowledge of various metals and alloys.

? Strong understanding of welding codes, standards, and procedures, particularly AWS D1.1.

? Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures related to welding operations, including handling of hazardous materials and use of PPE.

? Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, defect-free welds.
