Position: Master Planner
Reports to: Materials Manager
We are seeking a Master Planner to join our manufacturing plant team! Your meticulous attention to detail and exceptional skills will be instrumental in orchestrating production schedules and coordinating activities for peak efficiency and productivity. Working closely with various departments, you'll craft comprehensive production plans, manage inventory, and optimize resource allocation to meet customer demands and production targets. Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze customer releases to ensure accuracy and alignment with production requirements
- Investigate and resolve release discrepancies or variation issues
- Validate Customer ASNs (Advance Shipping Notices) for completeness and accuracy
- Identify and correct EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) errors
- Manage and resolve outdated or unjustified demand in the system
- Develop and maintain accurate production schedules
- Coordinate daily and weekly shipment schedules to meet customer expectations
- Identify and resolve discrepancies with 830/Delfor accumulative forecasts
- Monitor and maintain accuracy of customer online systems and portals
- Review and adjust production plans (BTS) to align with current requirements
- Oversee inventory balance, investigate claims, and ensure proper stock levels of finished goods
- Manage new parent item setups in the system
- Maintain and review shipping calendars to align with production and logistics schedules
- Review work center calendars to support resource and capacity planning
- Review employee work calendars to ensure alignment with production needs
- Maintain and adjust shift setup to optimize production efficiency
- Keep customer contact lists updated to ensure seamless communication
Minimum Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of manufacturing environment experience
- Knowledge of OEM portals
- Knowledge of scheduling skills of finish good.
