We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager/Estimator with a strong restoration background to lead complex projects from estimation through successful closeout. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for delivering strategic project outcomes, mentoring project teams, and cultivating key partnerships. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead estimation efforts using proprietary and industry-standard tools (e.g., Xactimate), providing detailed, accurate, and strategic project bids.
  • Serve as a primary liaison between ownership, insurance adjusters, clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Leverage extensive insurance and restoration industry expertise to manage fire, water, and other loss-related projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Drive strategic planning and oversee all phases of the building lifecycle-Conception, Pre-Construction, Execution, and Closeout.
  • Direct multiple, concurrent restoration projects, ensuring on-time, within-budget, and high-quality delivery.
  • Negotiate complex scopes of work and resolve issues with insurance providers, adjusters, and vendors.
  • Supervise project teams and subcontractors; provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching to junior staff.
  • Evaluate and implement cost-saving opportunities through value engineering and process optimization.
  • Proactively manage design and scope changes, ensuring transparency and alignment with project stakeholders.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and safety standards.
  • Actively contribute to business development efforts, including relationship management with community managers, HOAs, and insurance networks.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in the restoration (fire/water/mold) industry preferred, with 3 years in a senior role, preferred.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Xactimate and restoration-specific estimating practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale restoration projects with complex logistics and stakeholder involvement.
  • Strong negotiation skills, particularly in insurance claim environments.
  • Deep knowledge of applicable building codes, insurance policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Proficiency with MS Project, MS Excel, and project management tools.
  • A client-focused, solution-oriented mindset with exceptional time management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in business development and account management in the restoration or construction industry is highly desirable.
  • Prior relationships with Insurance adjustors preferred

Certifications (Preferred but not required):

  • IICRC, OSHA 30, or similar certifications in water, fire, mold, safety or general restoration.
