- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Electrical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience working in mechanical engineering.
- 3 years of experience in technical leadership.
- Experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), geometric dimensioning, and tolerancing and composite materials.
Preferred qualifications:
- PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Experience in optomechanics and electromechanical packaging.
- Experience with environmental testing and industrial design.
- Experience with computational fluid dynamics.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $171,000-$254,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Provide critical contributions in the entire life cycle of complex opto-mechanical multi-sensor capture systems.
- Leverage expertise in manufacturing techniques, materials and simulation to develop the best solution to a complex set of requirements that youll be instrumental in shaping.
- Lead technical contributions in both mechanical and cross-functional disciplines as we work towards developing complete systems.
- Lead efforts for the documentation of the hardware design, its implementation, or test/validation results throughout the product life cycle.
- Perform failure analysis, design and direct validation tests, and direct strategic investments in tooling and technology to solve future problems.
