Gia-Pacific is seeking a detail-oriented andanized Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to join our team in La Mirada, CA! This position is responsible for developing and helping execute maintenance plans to enable the efficient and reliable operation of the site.
The role of the Maintenance Planner/Scheduler is to improve work force productivity and quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning, scheduling, and coordination of maintenance resources, parts, materials, and equipment access.
Responsibilities include planning and coordination of all maintenance activities performed at the site, including day-to-day planning, down day planning and annual outage planning.
This position offers apetitive benefits package with an hourly rate of $38.00 - $42.00 per hour BOQ
Shifts: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm

What You Will Do In Your Role
Ad to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
Learn and all aspects of Gia-Pacific's Asset Maintenance (AM) process to effectively plan work
Reconcile purchase card transactions and ensure accurate allocation of costs to the appropriate accounts or cost centers. Maintainpliance withpany policies and financial controls.
Review all purchase/work orders, decide whether a field check is required, and assemble a job plan, a bill of materials and all necessary permits
Analyze work orderpletion data as well as planned workpletion to help eliminate unplanned maintenance downtime using CMMS
Responsible for supervising the monthly parts inventory cycle count process, andmunicating any identified discrepancies to management
Work with the Operations and Maintenance team members to develop a prioritized and 100% resource loaded schedule to optimize internal and external resources
Collaborate with production managers, reliability manager and maintenance and production supervisors on the weekly top priorities
weeklypletion rates and weekly schedule adnce on a month-to-date basis
Support our safe working environment by maintaining strict adnce to safety rules and regulations and wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Willing to work any shift, holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Minimum of two (2) years' experience in manufacturing, production, industrial, military environment, or two-year technical degree
Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Experience using Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, Projects)
Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a VISA transfer or VISA sponsorship
What Will Put You Ahead
Experience as a Maintenance Scheduler or Planner in an industrial manufacturing environment
Experience with tracking purchase orders from generation to invoicing
For this role, we anticipate paying $38.00 - $42.00 per hour BOQ.
