Job description

We are looking for like-minded business partners that vale customer service, respect, and hard work. We are seeking dynamic, problem solving, self-motivated Project Managers to drive forward progress throughout the lifecycle of a project.
The primary responsibility of a Project Manager is to oversee the building of commercial and industrial/ agriculture PV system installations. (Projects are located throughout Los Angeles, California.)
Key Responsibilities:
Manage scope, schedule, and cost of multiple projects simultaneously.
Maintain thorough up to date knowledge of all projects in ERP.
Travel to active job sites throughout Los Angeles, California as needed (up to 90%)- MUST have clean MVR.
Take sold projects all the way from post contract signing to Utility Interconnection, AHJ sign off and utility PTO.
Communicate with various stakeholders including direct to customer throughout the life of the project.
Facilitate and meet with clients and installation partners onsite.
Coordinate the compilation of site survey data supplied by the sales team and deliver it to the engineering team for the preparation of required documents. Verify the electrical infrastructure on-site through thorough site verification.
Re project schedule, contracts, plan, and overall specs. associated with project to determine the specific needs of each customer.
Issue purchase orders and buy out orders to vendors.
Re and submit invoices for final approval.
Coordinate install dates and maintain calendar, schedule subcontractors and confirm all planned scheduling with in-house install crew and third-party equipment/ material vendors as needed.
Provide customers with weekly project updates while maintaining rapport and project expectations.
Manage relationship with subcontractors during active construction and hold subcontractors accountable for timelines, quality, efficiency, and professionalism.
Work directly with subcontractors to receive and log daily job reports.
Coordinate and schedule interconnection, infrastructure upgrades, and disconnect/ reconnects with utility companies.
Visit job sites to gather additional information as needed and provide back up for installation team.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years electrical experience preferred
Minimum 3 years commercial scale project management experience required (active construction)
Minimum 2 years commercial scale solar project management required
High School Diploma or GED required
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
Familiarity with monitoring multiple project budgets
Use of SharePoint, project tracking tools, CRM, ERP, etc.
Clean criminal record
Clean MVR record - will be driving company fleet vehicle.
Ability to travel to job sites located throughout Los Angeles, California (up to 90% travel). Will use company fleet vehicle, MUST have clean MVR.
