- Lead and manage low-voltage design projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and to client satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and milestones, track progress throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project deliverables align with requirements.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, provide status updates and address any concerns.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Understand client requirements and objectives and translate them into actionable plans.
- Design structured cabling solutions in accordance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Work with CAD/Revit team to produce detailed design documentation, including system architecture, space planning, and construction drawings.
- Collaborate with internal technology staff and vendors to integrate structured cabling systems with other building technologies.
- Conduct field verification site visits to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements related to structured cabling systems.
- Ensure that all structured cabling installations adhere to quality standards and industry best practices.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in project management and structured cabling design required.
- Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems, industry standards (e.g., BICSI, NEC, EIA/TIA), and building codes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., ClickUp, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects from initiation to completion.
- Ability to multitask, manage resources efficiently, and adapt to evolving project requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
