Performs duties like: Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store
grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil, plant and
cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. General
lubrication, service (check fluids) and mechanical repair to farm machinery. Transports
produce, water and supplies to fields, elevator and/or storage. Per state regulations, the
employer is exempt from a commercial CDL requirement for farm trucking. No commercial or
heavy truck driving that requires CDL is required. The farmer will allocate adequate breaks as
determent by local and federal regulations. Employment may be terminated for the following reasons:
Repeated absenteeism or tardiness, Violation of safety protocols, Failure to perform job duties satisfactorily,
Misconduct or insubordination and Substance abuse on the job and operating machinery and vehicles.
In view of the statutorily established basic function of the Employment Service (ES) as a no-fee labor exchange that is as a forum for bringing together employers and job seekers, neither the Employment and Training Administration (ETA) nor the State Workforce Agencies (SWA) are guarantors of the accuracy or truthfulness of information contained on job orders submitted by employers. Nor does any job order accepted or recruited upon by the ES constitute a contractual job offer to which the ETA or a SWA is in any way a party.
