Millwright/Rigger**

**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled millwright/rigger to expertly set up and repair rigging for the movement of heavy equipment. The role involves preparing materials prior to loading, setting up rigging equipment, operating heavy machinery, and dismantling rigging post-task. The candidate will collaborate with the rigging team and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.

**Responsibilities**

+ Inspect and prepare loads for movement.

+ Set, align, and level heavy equipment machinery.

+ Select appropriate rigging gear.

+ Prepare rigging equipment including beams, pulleys, clamps, and bolts.

+ Inspect rigging before final use.

+ Monitor and maintain rigging equipment.

+ Maneuver loads using heavy equipment machinery and by hand.

+ Ensure compliance with state and company safety procedures.

+ Communicate effectively with rigging and construction teams.

+ Break down rigging equipment and conduct post-rigging inspections.

+ Transport equipment via semi from and to sites

**Essential Skills**

+ In-depth knowledge of rigging equipment.

+ Excellent spatial awareness.

+ Good communication skills.

+ Meticulous construction practices.

+ Strong awareness of safety protocols on construction sites.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Minimum of 3 years' experience in machinery moving, rigging, or as a millwright.

+ Preferred but not mandatory: CDL license; willing to train and sponsor for obtaining one.

**Work Environment**

The role operates both indoors and outdoors, requiring adaptability to different environmental conditions.
