Job Description:

As an Estimator/Project Assistant, youll play a key role in the smooth operation of our
projects and office. Your primary duties will include:
Estimating & Bidding: Prepare labor and material takeoffs from blueprints,
generate estimates, and create bids for projects
Project Management Support: Work closely with the project manager to ensure
projects run smoothly and meet profitability goals
Client Relations: Assist in building strong, long-lasting customer relationships
Documentation & Organization: Maintain accurate records of project estimates,
contracts, and related correspondence
Data Entry: Assist with data entry tasks, ensuring accurate and timely entry of
project and inventory data
Inventory Tracking: Help track and manage inventory, ensuring materials and
supplies are accounted for and available when needed
Hands-On Assistance: During slower periods or as needed, assist with hands-on
tasks related to ongoing projects, offering additional support on-site or in the office
Office Assistance: Help with general office duties, such as answering phones,
filing, and maintaining organization in the office environment

Requirements:

Estimating Experience: Proficiency in Onscreen Takeoff (PlanSwift knowledge is a
plus)
Organizational Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and stay organized
in a fast-paced environment
Technical Skills: Comfortable with blueprint reading and basic construction
knowledge
Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Attention to Detail: Accuracy in data entry and inventory tracking is essential
Flexibility: Willingness to assist with various tasks as needed, both in the office and
on the job site
Education: Associates degree preferred; Estimating or Construction experience is a
bonus
