  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the following markets: Primary metals (steel & aluminum), automotive and appliance manufacturing, industrial fabrication and OEM focused on coil processing and material handling.
  • Conduct and analyze market research and feasibility studies; review results of analysis with the management team to develop strategy and set up operational decisions
  • Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; explore opportunities; screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and potential financials, evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; make recommendations
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; negotiate contracts and integrate contract requirements with business operations
  • Strategic Selling: Engage at multiple levels within customer organizations (procurement, operations, engineering) to position our solutions.
  • Account Management: Build long-term relationships with key accounts, providing exceptional service and value-add to retain and grow revenue.
  • Industry Intelligence: Monitor trends, capital investments, and regulatory shifts in the metals industry to proactively adjust strategy and offerings.
  • Partner with sales, product management, and engineering teams to develop and tailor solutions specific to customer needs in smelting, casting, rolling, or refining operations.

Maintain a robust pipeline, report progress via CRM tools, and contribute to strategic planning and forecasting.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Five (5) + years of experience in industrial B2B sales, with a strong preference for background in primary metals, heavy industry, or capital equipment .
  • Proven track record of success in business development and managing complex, technical sales cycles.
  • Ability to travel regularly to customer sites, mills, and industry events.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • This position will be remote with a preference of residing in the Western United States
  • Wiliness to travel required up to 50 %
