Job Description
LK Jordan is hiring on behalf of our client, one of the largest and most reliable wholesale petroleum marketers , seeking a skilled MIG/Stick Welder for their shop in Northeast Houston .
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG and Stick welding on rigs, tanks, brackets, fence posts, dock levers, and other metal components
- Handle repairs and fabrication , including building skids and fixing tanks without compromising integrity
- Work exclusively in the shop (no service calls)
- Operate company weld trucks to move between internal sites (valid drivers license required )
Job Details:
- Pay: $20-$35/hr (DOE)
- Schedule: Full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity for the right fit
- MIG and Stick welding experience
- Ability to think critically and problem-solve repairs
- Must provide own welding hood, FRC welding shirts, and steel-toe boots (gloves preferred, but can be provided)
