Mechanical Engineer

Location: Meadville, PA
Pay Rate: $55$65/hour
Duration: 36 month assignment
Per Diem: $174/day, 7 days/week

System One is hiring! Were seeking a highly motivated Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to support our client site in Meadville, PA .
About the Role:
This contract opportunity is perfect for a Mechanical Engineer with strong industrial experience looking to contribute to impactful projects in the glass and heavy industrial sectors . Youll support a range of mechanical and piping engineering tasks, collaborating with cross-functional teams while taking ownership of scopes, schedules, and technical deliverables.

Key Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and execute mechanical and piping engineering tasks
Develop technical specifications, bid packages, and evaluations
Create and manage schedules, estimates, and manpower forecasts
Prepare scopes of work and construction work packages (CWPs)
Coordinate with project teams, vendors, and other disciplines
Review vendor data and perform discipline squad checks
Support permitting, procurement, and subcontract documentation
Assist in developing internal systems for improved project delivery
Provide general support to the Mechanical Engineering discipline
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
49 years of mechanical engineering experience
Site experience in glass or heavy industrial environments
Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
Experience with equipment design and conveyor systems
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Project)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Client-facing experience strongly preferred
