Abrams Maintenance Technician

Contract Position

$24.56/Hour

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting support on Abrams Fleet Vehicles and other tracked/wheeled military vehicles.

• Provide input on program planning, maintenance schedules, and techniques.

• Support Field Service Representatives with the identification and resolution of technical problems.

• Assist with vehicle modifications and routine service tasks.

• Maintain tools, safety protocols, and accountability for assigned equipment.

• Complete other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• 1+ year of direct maintenance experience on Abrams Tanks (M1A1ED, M1A2 SEP V2, M104, HAB).

• Must be a U.S. person and able to gain access to U.S. military installations .

• Must possess a valid state drivers license and be able to obtain a tank drivers license , if required.

• Ability to travel to other military or field sites within the U.S.

• Must meet anthropometric requirements for operating and entering military vehicles.

• Capable of working at heights , lifting up to 50 pounds , and performing physically demanding tasks including climbing, kneeling, and stooping in extreme temperatures and weather conditions .

• Proficient in Microsoft applications and familiar with general maintenance documentation tools.
