What You’ll Do:

  • Read and interpret contract terms, recognizing the need for change orders and understanding project pricing models.
  • Conduct pre-job meetings, ensuring comprehensive agenda coverage, involvement of key team members, and setting project goals.
  • Develop and utilize project schedules, focusing on man-loading and continuous evaluation through cost-to-complete analysis.
  • Oversee budgets by setting up job cost tracking reports, reviewing them with estimators, and utilizing the information for positive cash flow.
  • Assist in obtaining and reviewing timely submittals, while monitoring the process and expediting or resubmitting as necessary.
  • Initiate, review, and sign off on all major purchase orders and subcontracts, ensuring invoices align with contractual agreements.
  • Coach and suggest production methods while emphasizing pre-planning for quality, safety, and achieving an injury-free job.
  • Facilitate effective correspondence, ensuring timely, professional, and accurate communication, and utilizing logs to track information requests.

What’s Required:

  • 5 years experience in a project management position
