Civil Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for stormwater management design, land development, grading, earthworks, and drainage.
  • Develop constraint maps to understand drainage divides and implement erosion control measures.
  • Manage projects related to renewable energy, utilities engineering, and solar.
  • Ensure compliance with Virginia DEQ/VSMP regulations, particularly focusing on water quality.
Essential Skills
  • 3+ years of experience in civil engineering.
  • Strong proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Experience with stormwater management design and grading.
  • Knowledge of Virginia regulatory compliance, particularly DEQ/VSMP.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience working in Virginia is essential.
  • Familiarity with developing plans for civil engineering projects.
  • Solar experience is preferred.
Work Environment

Experience a laid-back, dog-friendly work environment whenever you are in office. The role allows for remote work, with quarterly travel to Charlottesville, VA. The candidate should be located in Virginia, North Carolina, or South Carolina, with travel expenses and food compensated during visits.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $52.29/hr.
