- Manage and execute electrical projects with a focus on medium to low voltage electrical system infrastructure.
- Support the design and technical evaluation of third-party engineering designs and bids.
- Upgrade old and obsolete electrical substations based on audit recommendations.
- Collaborate with production floor teams and other engineers to gain insights and feedback on design.
- Work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders, including Director and VP-level personnel.
- Drive capital expenditure projects, preparing proposals and issuing purchase orders to contractors.
- Support the company's sustainability goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2030.
- Minimum 5 years of electrical engineering experience, focusing on power distribution systems and medium voltage.
- Strong understanding of national and state electrical codes, including NFPA 70A and 70B.
- Proven project management experience, ideally in the $1-10M range, with the ability to drive capital projects.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematic drawings.
- Experience with automation, batch servers, and HMI is beneficial.
- Knowledge of HVAC, boilers, and utility systems is a plus.
- Experience in a 24/7 manufacturing environment or consulting engineering industry.
This role will involve time spent in both production facilities and an office cubicle environment. You will work collaboratively with a large team, including permanent staff and outsourced hires, in a fast-paced and growing facility.
