We are currently hiring a dedicated construction Project Engineer to support terminal upgrade projects at Tom Bradley International Terminal. This position is based on-site at LAX airport and is responsible for assisting with managing the scope, schedule, and operational interfaces of all design and construction related activities for the terminal refresh program at Tom Bradley International Terminal. This position will be focused on schedule certainty, budget delivery, and making sure that construction work meets the required quality standards while enforcing a strong health, safety, and environmental culture on the project. We are seeking an individual with solid understanding of interior renovation projects within an active operating environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist the project team in the receipt, distribution, and maintenance of submittals. Perform construction contract correspondence, document and plan control function, input data into Prolog, and prepare management information status reports, as required.
Update and maintain logs for submittals and RFIs in Prolog, the project management information system.
Maintain project files and document/submittal management systems (hard and electronic copies). Collaborate with the contractors to ensure the drawings are posted efficiently and in a timely manner. Distribute documents, submittals, and RFIs for review; track and compile responses/review comments, obtain management approval and issue responses to contractors.
Manipulate electronic files of various formats to create exhibits for presentations and meetings.
Complete other responsibilities and assist as assigned to support the project such as attend and document project meetings (write agendas and minutes), perform expediting functions, and prepare and maintain an expediting log, etc.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or other related field.
Five (5) years or more experience, preferably on airport projects.
Experience with projects more than $50 million in value.
Experience with various delivery methods, including design-bid-build, design+CMAR, and design-build.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations.

The salary range for this full-time role is $84,400.00-$112,533.35 per year. Ranges are determined based on the position, geography, client and industry experience and level, and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only, and not the total compensation package.
